Cheerleading takes 2nd place at WOW Factor Sports Competition

Cheerleading takes 2nd place at WOW Factor Sports Competition

MINNEAPOLIS, MN- The Waldorf Cheerleading team attended the WOW factor Sports Competition over the weekend. The team had 0 deductions during both performances on Saturday and Sunday. After Saturday's performance the team took 2nd place with a score of 52.7. Sunday's performance secured their 2nd place finish overall in the Non-tumbling division. 

 

1st Place- University of Dubuque

2nd Place- Waldorf University

3rd Place- Kirkwood Community College

4th Place- UW-Stout

 

"This weekend was an incredible way to finish our competition season. The atmosphere at the competition really lit a fire under our team and you could feel their energy on the mat! We knew going into Sunday that we were only had a thin lead over Kirkwood and we had to put out a clean routine with a lot of energy and that is exactly what they did! I am a proud of the accomplishments of this season and each and every member of the team." Head Coach Michelle Provenzano stated.
