Waldorf Esports Weekly Recap
Smash Ultimate vs Concordia University Texas
Waldorf SSBU went up against Concordia University. A strong game 1 put Waldorf in control going up 1-0. Concordia, not willing to go down without a fight, came back and took game 2. Using that momentum, Concordia built a lead for game 3. With everything on the line, our Warriors were going to give it their all. Concordia had too much of a lead before Waldorf got fully going and ended up losing the series 2-1.

Smash Ultimate vs Vandals SSBU
The fourth match of the season had Waldorf going up against Vandals. After last week's loss, Waldorf was ready and locked in for this match. Unfortunately, the Vandals were even more prepared. A nail-biter in game 1 that sadly resulted in a loss carried over to game 2 with the same result. Both matches were as close as possible but the results did not go in our Warriors' favor. Waldorf SSBU needs to clean up a few edges and turn these close defeats into close victories at the midpoint of the season.
Overwatch 2 vs Purdue University Black
Waldorf had their 2nd match of the season against Purdue University Black. Following the strong showing over the weekend at the GPAC Esports Championship, Waldorf was fired up and ready to bring that same level of competition. Waldorf took the lead in the first map but it was not enough to close it out and Purdue was up 1-0. Waldorf with the next map pick went for a comfort pick of Kings Row. Again on map 2, a close game with both teams full capping but Purdue having more time on the clock ended up winning map 2. Waldorf after 2 extremely close losses went to Runasapi for a change in pace. Just like the other maps, a close battle but Waldorf lost yet again by inches. Purdue beat Waldorf 3-0 with a score that does not reflect how back and forth the matches were.
Call of Duty vs Keiser University Jacksonville
Waldorf COD played against Keiser University on Sunday night. Map 1 was a difficult start for the Warriors after they ended up losing Skyline. Looking to bounce back on Red Card. Search and Destroy being one of Waldorf's better map types still was not enough in game 2 and Waldorf is down 0-2 going into Vault. A strong fight on map 3, but is still not enough to turn the tides. All close maps but unfortunately the score does not reflect it.
