Waldorf Esports Dominates in Late October Matchups
FOREST CITY, Iowa – The Waldorf Esports team delivered an outstanding week of competition in late October, notching several decisive victories across multiple titles. From Overwatch to Rocket League, the Warriors showcased their skill, teamwork, and determination against tough regional opponents.
Overwatch: Commanding Victory Over UW–Eau Claire
The week began on October 24, as Waldorf's Overwatch squad faced off against the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. The Warriors came out strong, executing sharp strategies and maintaining strong communication throughout the series. Their efforts paid off with a 3–1 victory, setting the tone for an impressive run of wins.
Super Smash Bros: Clean Sweep Against Nebraska Omaha
On October 28, Waldorf's Super Smash Bros competitors took on the University of Nebraska Omaha. With confident play and precise execution, the Warriors secured a 2–0 sweep, continuing their undefeated momentum for the week.
Marvel Rivals: Down-to-the-Wire Triumph at Montana
Later that same evening, the newly formed Marvel Rivals squad battled the University of Montana in a tense, back-and-forth matchup. The Warriors held their ground through five games, emerging with a 3–2 win. The result marked another step forward for Waldorf in this growing esports title.
Rocket League: Finishing Strong Against UW–Stevens Point
The weekend concluded on October 29, when Waldorf's Rocket League team faced the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. The Warriors dominated from kickoff to final goal, taking the series 4–1 and capping off an incredible stretch of victories across all titles.
