Men's Cross Country Back in Action at Augustana Twilight

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Warriors began their competition off to a good start at Augustana College this weekend.

Three hundred ninety-four runners were competing at this meet where Breyden Christensen (SR) had Waldorf's best time with it being 21:01.7 followed by Royce Rock (FR) with a time of 23:25.0 and Jacob Diaz (FR) finishing the race with a time of 26:41.3 on a 4 mile run.

The warriors were able to get a good start early in the season as Head Coach Janna Langrell mentioned. "I am happy with how we opened up. Each of our athletes ran well and I feel we are in a good spot early in the season. I am excited to see how they continue to grow and progress over the next couple of months as we continue to build for the conference meet," said Coach Janna. 

The Waldorf Warriors will compete again on Saturday, September 13th at the NIACC Trent Smith Invitational in Mason City, Ia.
