Waldorf Men's Cross Country Run at Seminole Valley

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA- The Men's Cross Country team competed at Seminole Valley Park on October 4th. 

The Warriors competed hard and were able to obtain personal records including those from Breyden Christensen (SR) with a time of 27:25.8 making it the second fastest time run by a Waldorf Athlete on this course and 2nd All Time at the Seminole Valley Course. This is a season best for Breyden and fastest he has run since he started here. Royce Rock (FR) also had a personal record and has the third fastest time run by a Waldorf Freshman in that course with a time of 32:29.3.

Coach Jana Langrell expressed satisfaction with their performances this meet. "I am extremely happy with how our athletes ran this weekend. It was a bit warmer than expected for this time of year, but the course and competition were great which helped pull some of our athletes to some great times. We are nearing the end of a pretty tough training block, so i know they will only continue to run better from here," she mentioned. 

Looking ahead, the Waldorf Warriors are scheduled to compete next at the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic in Ashland, Nebraska on October 25, 2025.
