Waldorf Men's CC Run at GPAC Championships
ASHLAND, NE- The Waldorf Warriors finished off their season placing 9th in the GPAC Championships held in Ashland, Nebraska on Saturday, November 8th 2025.
During this 8k race, the Warriors placed 9th out of 11 with a score of 280. Finishing first for the Warriors was Breyden Christensen with a time of 26:43.7 placing 33rd overall. He improved his time by 23 seconds from two weeks ago in this course and is the 5th all time in school history, 4th all time Senior and currently holds the Mahoney State Park Course record for Waldorf. Isaiah Cote came in next for Waldorf with a time of 28:44.7 placing 61st overall and having a significant course improvement from last years GPAC Championships by 2:49 seconds making him 6th all time Sophomore. Royce Rock finished with a time of 31:06.5 placing 77th overall and improving in this same course from 2 weeks ago by 1:15 seconds. He is currently 9th all time Freshman in school history. Brunelson Dominique finished with a time of 35:00.4 placing 86th overall with a 1:02 second course improvement from last years GPAC Championships. Xzayvier Horton finished with a time of 38:54.3 placing 88th overall. Chayton Ewurs with a time of 39:04.6 placing 89th and Jacob Diaz with a time of 39:51.0 placing 91st both established an 8k PR.
Coach Janna Langrell was happy with their performances and said, "The men showed a lot of heart. It was great watching them give it their all and showcase their fitness. Nothing was sweeter than seeing Breyden PR in his last race as a senior. I am forever grateful he chose Waldorf and he has been a shining example to our younger athletes, nobody is more humble and works harder."
