Clouse, Loeppky, & Houdayer Named as Daktronics Golf Scholar-Athletes
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has revealed the 2022-23 Daktronics NAIA Men's Golf Scholar-Athletes. The men's golf team have three scholar athletes.
Caden Loeppky (SO/Saskatoon Canada), Thomas Houdayer (SO/Evreux, France), Tyler Clouse (JR/Forest City, Iowa) were named as Daktronics Golf Scholar-Athletes and are all majoring in Business Management.
"Being named a Scholar Athlete is a great honor for these individuals and our team. College golfers need to be very organized and focused in order to excel both on the course and in the classroom," Head Coach Mark Clouse stated. "Caden, Thomas, and Tyler all exemplify these traits, and I am proud that they are being recognized for their efforts."
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
