Waldorf Men's Track and Field Competes at GPAC Championships

The Waldorf men's and women's track and field teams traveled to Sioux Center to compete at the GPAC Championships over the weekend.
The meet started Friday with one Warrior competing on the first day as Madison Mulhall competed in the Pentathalon, including personal bests in the shot put (7.95) and the 800 meter run (2:50.61). Overall, Mulhall finished 14th in the Pentathalon. Saturday also saw Mulhall race in the 60 meter hurdle prelims where she placed 14th overall.
Eliza McKown ran both of her events on Saturday, as she became the GPAC champion in the 800 meter, and finished 6th for an all conference placement in the 1000 meter run. Eliza McKown's converted time of 2:12.73# gives her the 6th fastest 800 time in the nation, setting up well as she continues to prepare for the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships.
The men's program saw Donte Brown compete in the high jump, finishing 15th with a jump of 1.79 meters. Estaban Molina and Avant Jackson both competed in the triple jump, with Jackson finishing 18th (12.18 meters) and Molina finishing 12th (12.92 meters)
