Women's Bowling Angel Schuyler is Perfect
LAS VEGAS, NV - The Waldorf Women's bowling team travelled to Las Vegas Nevada to compete in two different tournaments to end the 2025 year. The first was the Glenn Carlson Las Vegas Invitational.
The women had their highest finish within the last several years placing 19th. "There were 42 teams competing, so to finish in the top half is fantastic comparing to previous years," said Head coach Hannah Fisher.
The ladies averaged 178.9 in a tournament that consisted of strictly individual games.
The best moment of the entire trip was that Angel Schuyler bowled a perfect 300 game and the women shot an outstanding 1143 set (228.6 average).
This is the first 300 game in Waldorf history for the men or women, it was the only individual 300 game shot the entire week in Las Vegas, and it took place on Angel's birthday (12/19).
To add to the set, Paige Harns shot a 277 game after throwing the first 8 strikes, making this her highest game at Waldorf.
Samantha Adams also had her high game at Waldorf with a 222 game, which she followed up with a 223 the following set.
Overall, the women exceeded their expectations and have something pretty cool to show for it.
Angel also placed 20th individually averaging 193.7 and not far behind was Paige Harns finishing in 37th averaging 188.2.
On the third and fourth day of the trip, the Warriors competed in the Collegiate Shootout. The women placed 25th out of 41 teams with a total score of 6995 and an average of 170.6. Freshman Angel Schuyler was Waldorf's top bowler once again 63rd with an average of 179.
"Overall great turnout for both teams during both tournaments. Excited to see what the rest of the year brings for these athletes and the team dynamic," said Head Coach Hannah Fisher.
The Warriors will be back in action January 17 and 18 in Addison, Illinois.
