Women's Bowling Finds Success in Cedar Rapids
CEDAR RAPIDS, IA - This past weekend the Waldorf women's bowling team participated in the MIBC #3 in Cedar Rapids, IA.
For the MIBC #3 tournament, the Waldorf Women's team secured a 2nd place finish. Junior Jadyn Collins, Freshman Angel Schuyler, Senior Paige Harns, and Freshman Hailey Havel all finished in the top 25 averaging between 179 and 190. This consistency helped the ladies secure 2nd place with a total score of 4933 and a 182.7 average. The only school who finished above Waldorf was Wartburg College who had a total score of 4996.
During the Conference Championships, the ladies finished in 3rd losing to Coe College 1-3, losing to Iowa Central Community College 1-3, and defeating Hawkeye 3-0. The ladies averaged 184.7 during the matches.
The women's team finished in 2nd place for Conference this year based on points. Angel Schuyler finished in 4th place overall with a 181.9 average, and Paige Harns finished right behind her in 5th place with a 181.2 average.
The Warriors will be back in action next weekend at the Cedar Valley Invite in Waterloo, IA.
