FOREST CITY, IA – The Waldorf men's soccer team was back in GPAC action for a home game against the Northwestern (IA) Raiders on Wednesday evening. The Warriors suffered a 5-0 defeat.
Waldorf goalkeeper, Kyle Pederson (SO/Ankeny, IA), started off the game with four straight saves before the Raiders scored their first goal.
The Raiders scored on a free kick in the 33rd minute. Northwestern closed out the first half with a 3-0 lead.
In the second half, the Raiders kept their offensive momentum going by adding two more goals to take a 5-0 win.
Pederson finished the game with 12 saves.
Next up for the Warriors men's soccer team is a conference game against Concordia on Saturday, October 21st in Kearney, Nebraska. Kickoff is at 2 pm.
