Waldorf University Warriors Fall to Doane in a Challenging Soccer Game
CRETE, Neb. - The Waldorf University Warriors faced a tough conference game against Doane (NE) on September 27, 2025, in Crete, Neb. Despite a strong defensive effort, the Warriors were unable to secure a win, finishing the game with a 3-0 loss.
The only goal of the first half came from Mateo Garcia D'Elett of Doane. Assisted skillfully by Nicolas Jones, this goal set the pace for the remainder of the match. Waldorf's goalie, Dickson Phoon, was significantly tested throughout the game and played the entire match, showing commendable resilience under pressure.
The second half saw further advances by Doane, with additional goals that widened their lead.
