Waldorf University Warriors Battle at 2025 Grandview Open
DES MOINES, Iowa-. The Waldorf University Warriors displayed impressive performances at a wrestling tournament on November 15, 2025. The event saw the Warriors tackling a series of challenging matches, making notable strides in their College-level Men's wrestling season.
Key performances included Malachi Aispuro, who went 2-2 with one match won by fall and another by a major decision. Jaden Kondor and Marco Gandy also highlighted their tenacity by mirroring Aispuro's record with each securing a 2-2 record for the day, showcasing their skills across their bouts. Notably, Daven Hames claimed a victory by a technical fall, contributing significantly to the team's overall performance at the tournament.
Other Warriors, such as Demario Curry and Shiwoko Shiwoko, each managed a 1-2 record but made their marks with victories by fall, demonstrating the toughness and resilience inherent to the Warrior team. Ronald Hooten and Noah Avila also participated, completing the event with a 1-2 record each.
Looking forward, the Waldorf University Warriors are set to compete again on November 25, 2025, facing Doane and Concordia University in Sioux City, Iowa.
