FOREST CITY, Iowa - The Waldorf women's soccer team hosted NCCAA's Faith Baptist Bible College to close out their 2024 season Tuesday night at Bolstorff Field. After 80 scoreless minutes, both teams scored in the final 10 minutes and battled to a 1-1 draw.
Waldorf controlled the offensive end in the first half, outshooting the Eagles 8-2. But the score remained scoreless after 45 minutes of play. It remained scoreless for another 37 minutes. Waldorf's Olivia Cross finally broke the scoreless tie getting loose in front of the FBBC goalie in the 83rd minute for a 1-0 Waldorf lead. The Warriors were unable to hold the lead though as the Eagles scored the equalizer in the 88th minute and the game ended in a draw.
Waldorf ends the season with an 0-17-1 record.
