Miller Named as Daktronics Scholar-Athlete

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Men's Basketball Scholar-Athletes on Thursday.

Noah Miller (SO/Forest City, IA) was named as a Scholar-Athlete from the men's basketball team for his efforts in the classroom, as well as on the court.

"Noah is a true example of what a student-athlete should be. He handles his business on the court but most importantly off the court," Head Coach Nigel Jenkins stated. "He works really hard on the court and in the classroom. I'm really happy that he is getting this recognition and I'm sure he will continue to get it for the rest of his career."

The 2023 list features 542 student-athletes that achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
