Waldorf Men's Basketball Falls Short in Conference Opener at Concordia
SEWARD, Nebraska. The Waldorf University Warriors faced a tough challenge in their conference opening game against the Concordia Bulldogs in Seward, Neb. on November 15, 2025. Despite a strong effort, the Warriors were unable to secure the win, losing with a final score of 95-67.
The game started with Concordia quickly taking the lead, highlighted by Jaxon Stueve's early free throws and a subsequent three-pointer. Concordia's Kissinger also contributed significantly with multiple layups and dunks, helping extend their lead to 17 points during the first period. The first half concluded with Concordia leading 46-34.
In the second period, Concordia, led Logan Wilson and Brooks Kissinger, continued to dominate, maintaining and even extending their lead. A notable moment was a fast break layup by Tate Odvody, which further solidified Concordia's control over the game. Concordia's performance peaked in the second half, with their lead expanding to a maximum of 30 points.
Key players for Waldorf included Conner Aldridge, who scored 16 points, followed by McNeal Thompson IV with 13 points and 6 rebounds. The Warriors also saw contributions from Cartier Parr with 11 points and additional efforts from Krys Watley and Nick Graves.
Looking forward, the Warriors will face Briar Cliff on November 19, 2025, in Forest City, IA. Currently, the Waldorf Warriors maintain a season record of 3-5, with an 0-1 record in GPAC play.
