SIOUX CITY, Iowa - The Waldorf men's basketball team continued its busy start to the season with a pair of games at the Morningside Classic Friday and Saturday. Waldorf fell to Kansas Wesleyan Friday, 85-74. Then dropped a contest to Governors State Saturday, 96-67.
Friday, Anthony Robinson had a great effort for the Warriors. He led all scorers with 22 points on 6-for-9 shooting from the floor including 3-for-5 from 3-point range. Ugo Ejiofor was the only other Waldorf player in double figures with 12 points.
Saturday, Governors State shot over 54 percent from the floor for the entire game in handing Waldorf a 29-point setback. Khalil Grayson led Waldorf with 14 points off the bench.
Waldorf (0-5) will have their home opener Wednesday night against Luther College at 7 p.m.
