Waldorf Basketball Falls to #5 Briar Cliff University
FOREST CITY, Iowa – The Waldorf Women's Basketball team hosted the #5 Briar Cliff Chargers on Wednesday night. The Warriors came ready to fight, keeping the Chargers on their toes in the first quarter. The #5 team was able to slow down Waldorf's scoring in the second and third quarters. While the Warriors came just one point shy of the Chargers in the fourth quarter, they came up short overall. Briar Cliff won 110-68.
Brooke Dial scored a career high and game high of 30 points, which is the 3rd highest single game total in Waldorf's 4-year history. After tonight's game, she moved into 8th place in career scoring in the 4-year records. Edosa Ogbemudia had her third straight double-double with 18 points and 15 rebounds.
The Warriors are back on the road this Saturday, February 15 at 2pm against Midland University in Fremont, Neb.
