Waldorf Falls to Midland

Waldorf's early defensive effort looked strong as it helped the Warriors hold first quarter leads of 11-3 and 14-6, but a run by Midland pushed the score back to 18-16 Midland to end the period. The second quarter was highlighted by another scoring drought for Waldorf, who shot 15% from the field as Midland grew a 12 point lead heading into halftime. Midland was lead by Jenna Webber's 39 points and 18 rebounds which were intrumental in pushing the game to double diggits and staving off the Waldorf comeback attempts.
Waldorf was lead by Cloey Dmytruk and Charlotte Mills who each scored 11 for the Warriors. Jariah Riley scored 8 while grabbing 8 rebounds. Brooklynn Anderson had 7 points off the bench.
The Warriors will return to action on Wednesday January 21st at #16 Briar Cliff.
