Warriors Earn First GPAC Win of the Season as Cloey Dmytruk Sets School Record

The Warriors start off 2026 with their first GPAC win of the season with a 77-49 win at College of Saint Mary. A hard fought first half sent the Warriors into halftime only up 5, but a big third quarter from Waldorf broke the game open to a 16 point lead. The avalanche continued through the fourth until the Warriors officially earned their second win of 2025-26. It was also the first road win of the season for the Warriors.
Cloey Dmytruk shot 71% from the field and 63% from 3 on her way to scoring 39 points, setting a new Waldorf Women's Basketball school record in scoring for a single game as a four year institution. The best scoring game in school history was accompanied with 10 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. Charlotte Mills added 9 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals. Tarah Ruckdashel played well off the bench with 7 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists.
Mia Sao-Martinez and Destiny Sao-Martinez both scored 5, Jariah Riley 4, Madison Morales-Simental 3, Brooklynn Anderson 3, Paris Southern 2.
The Warriors will return to action in Forest City on Wednesday, January 7th at 6pm vs Hastings.
