Warriors Play Hard Against #10 Concordia
Forest City, Iowa
The Warriors started off the game very well, handling the Concordia pressure and finding success scoring in transition. The Warriors battled to keep the score close, with Concordia holding a small 16-10 lead at the first media timeout. Foul trouble then became a problem for the Warriors, as players were forced to play out of position as the Bulldogs increased their pressure. Concordia then ran off a 23-3 run to end the first quarter, blowing the game open. Overall, the Warriors showed improvement from the first contest with the Bulldogs, as they had less turnovers, gave up fewer offensive rebounds, and held them to 22 fewer points this time around.
Cloey Dmytruk led the Warriors with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Charlotte Mills added 9 points and 5 rebounds. Jariah Riley and Brooklynn Anderson each scored 5.
The Warriors head into the next week with no game on Wednesday, they will instead return to the court on Saturday, February 7th at (RV) Hastings College.
