The Warriors first home GPAC matchup of the season came Wednesday night vs #9 Briar Cliff.
The Warriors were hurt early by 26 first half turnovers which was the major factor in the 60-27 halftime deficit. Waldorf was able to play a lot better in the second half, only turning it over 6 times. The Warriors fought in the second half, with Briar Cliff only winning the 3rd quarter 21-18, and the Warriors winning the first 8 minutes of the fourth quarter 10-8 before Briar Cliff scored several run out layups in the final minutes.
Cloey Dmytruk led all scorers with 24 points and 6 rebounds.
The Warriors will return to the Hanson Fieldhouse on Saturday, November 22nd at 2pm vs College of Saint Mary.
