Kidd Receives NSAA Postseason Honors
WATERTOWN, S.D. – The 2023 North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) announced its All-Conference women's volleyball teams and postseason awards Wednesday evening. Awards were given out during the honors presentation at Goss Opera House in downtown Watertown on the eve of the North Star volleyball conference postseason tournament at Civic Arena.
Kenzie Kidd (SR/Roscoe, IL) was selected to the All-Conference 2nd Team and named as Waldorf's Champion of Character. During the regular season, Kidd has appeared in 23 matches with 221 kills, 234 digs, 13 service aces, 25 block assists, and 5 solo blocks. This marks the third straight time Kidd has been named to a conference postseason team.
Head Coach Bri Ebenhoe had this to say about Kidd: "Kenzie has established herself as a top player in our conference, and to see her recognized as such by the other coaches is really gratifying. While her skills are exceptional, it is really her leadership that makes her a force on the court. I am incredibly proud of her growth and poise."
"These awards mean so much to me. I was really not expecting these and to receive recognition like this is something that I am truly grateful for," Kidd stated. "I could not have done this without the support of my teammates and coaches!"
