Warriors Conclude Season Against Northwestern College
ORANGE CITY, Iowa – The Waldorf Warrior volleyball team wrapped up their 2025 fall campaign on Tuesday evening, taking on the regular season conference champions, Northwestern College, at the Bultman Center. Despite a strong effort, the Warriors fell 3-0 (25-15, 25-13, 25-14) to the Red Raiders.
Senior rightside hitter Anna Longhenry led the Warriors offensively with an impressive 11 kills while hitting .400, continuing her steady play at the net. Reinya Balderson and Gianna Sifuentes shared the setting duties, distributing the offense with 15 and 11 assists, respectively.
Defensively, McKenna Marlow anchored the back row with 10 digs, while Ashley Kurschner contributed a service ace to help keep the Warriors in the fight.
One of the night's highlight moments came in the third set when Sydney Kidd came off the bench to make an immediate impact, tallying 2 kills on 4 swings for a strong .500 hitting percentage.
The Warriors close the 2025 season with an overall record of 11-13, marking a year of competitive play and continued growth within the program. With time to rest and recover, the Warriors are eager to carry their momentum into offseason training and return to the court in the spring, building on the progress and wins they earned this year.
