Volleyball Receives 13 Daktronics Scholar-Athletes
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Women's Volleyball Scholar-Athletes on Tuesday morning. The Waldorf volleyball team had 13 named as scholar-athletes and finished with the most in the NSAA.
The volleyball scholar-athletes are:

Alisha Schaefer (SR/Mount Calvary, WI), Psychology
Anna Longhenry (SO/Fenton, IA), Elementary Education
Annie Stotlar (JR/Davenport, IA), Business
Charlotte Wright (SR/Porter, MN), Communications
Devyn Scott (SR/Fort Dodge, IA), Biology & Psychology
Emma Hovenga (SR/Forest City, IA), Health Promotion and Exercise Science
Juliet Karlen (JR/Janesville, WI), Elementary Education
Kaylee Kidd (SR/Roscoe, IL), Elementary Education
Kenzie Kidd (SR/Roscoe, IL), Biology & Psychology
Laina Yurs (JR/South Beloit, IL), Health Promotion and Exercise Science
Macy Stratton (SO/Luverne, MN), Criminal Justice
Rachel Watson (JR/Littleton, CO), Health Promotion and Exercise Science

The 2023 list features 1,200 student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
