Waldorf Drops Game Against Grand View University

DES MOINES, Iowa - The Waldorf Baseball team traveled to Des Moines, Iowa to face off against the Grand View University Vikings for a single game.
Grand View scored first, leading 1-0 at the bottom the first. The Warriors would answer with three of their own by Seth Mifflin, Tyler Wytulka, and Ryan Webster in the top of the second, taking the 3-1 lead. The Vikings went on to score six runs total between the second, third, sixth, and seventh innings. Cameron Rindone scored the Warriors' last run in the top of the eighth to cut the Vikings' lead to 7-4. Grand View scored seven runs in the bottom of the eighth inning and won the game 14-4.
The Warriors travel to Hastings, Nebraska on March 15 and 16 to face the Hastings College Broncos for their first conference weekend series. Saturday's doubleheader starts at 1pm and Sunday's doubleheader starts at 12pm.
