Waldorf Warriors Baseball Drops Game Against Mount Mercy
FOREST CITY, Iowa. - Waldorf baseball was defeated by Mount Mercy with a final score of 20-8.
Chase Becker started as the pitcher for the Warriors. Throughout the game, Waldorf's Lucas Romero, Atticus Smith, Jack Kamalski, Tyler Wytulka, and Drake Fetters demonstrated resilience by scoring runs for Waldorf. Waldorf's Smith, Kamalski, and Wytulka stood out by securing two RBIs each, while Fetters also contributed to the RBIs.
A highlight for the Warriors was the performance of Rylee Rauch, who not only managed to secure two stolen bases but also hit a double alongside Mason Smith. Wytulka's efforts were notable with a sacrifice fly and an RBI single.
The Warriors will look to bounce back in their next game, scheduled on April 12 against the Doane University Tigers in Forest City, Iowa, at 1 PM and 3:30 PM for a Weekend Series.
