Waldorf D1 Hockey Gets the Comeback against Dordt University
MASON CITY, IA- The Warriors were able to complete the comeback tonight making it 5-3 versus Dordt University. It starts off with Dominic Toews cutting the lead to 2-1 late in the first with assists to Zak Molstad and Audun Caple. The Warriors went down 3-1 before the comeback started. Devin Carney scored on a rebound off a nice individual play by Jaden Aguilera. The Warriors made it 3-3 on a goal from Molstad off a rebound shot from Preston Castaneda. Molstad send the Warriors into the lead with an assist to Dominic Toews. Toews completed the scoring for the night with an assist going to Molstad. The Warriors ended the exhibition season 2-0. The Waldorf Warriors hockey team will kick off the ACHA season next weekend at Midland University.
