Warriors head to Overtime with the University of Central Oklahoma

EDMOND, Okla. - The Warriors lost a tough one in overtime against the University of Central Oklahoma with a final score of 6-5. The Warriors jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first on goal from Cole Dermott. Heading into the second, the Warriors would make it 2-0 on the first of three goals by Donovan Ascencio. UCO would get on the board with a power play goal. Ascencio would add his second of the night, making it 3-1 after two. UCO would score two power play goals to tie it up at 3 before scoring another to take the lead. Audun Caple would tie it up at 4 with a nice drive to the net. Ascencio would complete the hat trick, giving the Warriors a 5-4 lead with under two minutes left. UCO would tie it up in the last minute. The Warriors hit the post in overtime before UCO scored. The two teams meet again Saturday night January 10 at 7pm.
