Waldorf Men's Hockey Cannot Crack Tough (11)University of Mary Defense
MANDAN, North Dakota. The Waldorf University Hockey team faced a tough defeat on Friday afternoon against the 11th ranked University of Mary. The game was located in Mandan, ND and University of Mary secured the victory with a score of 4-0.
The Marauders and the Warriors would battle hard for two periods, with the score only being 2-0 in favor of University of Mary at the start of the 3rd period. The Marauders would add 2 more goals in the 3rd period, making the final score 4-0. Matt Loney of the Warriors had a strong performance in front of the net, making 44 saves in the game. The second game of the series will commence Saturday afternoon in Mandan, ND.
