Waldorf University D1 Hockey Team Faces Setback Against Colorado State
FORT COLLINS, Colorado. The Waldorf University Warriors, led by the seasoned Vaughn Holbeche in goal, faced a challenging outing against the Colorado State Rams on October 31, 2025, at Fort Collins, CO. The game, a part of the regular hockey season, concluded with Colorado State securing a 4-3 victory over Waldorf.
The match started evenly with both teams scoring one goal each in the first period. For Waldorf, Inks found the net early, matching Colorado State's Hunt-Bahn who also scored. Moving into the second period, the game tilted in favor of Colorado State, who added three more goals to their tally through Stevens, Grasso, and Sledz, despite Waldorf's Caple piercing through with a goal for the Warriors. The period ended with Colorado State leading 4-2.
