Waldorf University D2 Hockey Faces Setback Against MSOE in Second Clash of the Weekend
ALBERT LEA, Minn. - The Waldorf University Warriors faced off against MSOE on October 26, 2025, enduring a tough game with a final score of 5-2 in favor of MSOE. The match opened with intense competition, closing the first period at a tie with each team scoring one goal; Waldorf's White and MSOE's Kadera each found the net in the initial period.
MSOE then took control in the second period, scoring three additional goals through Rieder, Hruby, and Keeman, while Waldorf managed only one goal by Whited, bringing the score to 4-2. As the game progressed into the final period, MSOE's Wahlstrom added another goal, sealing the victory with a final score of 5-2.
Goalkeeping duties for Waldorf were shared by Treyson Boesch and Carter Herheim, while MSOE's net was guarded by Ethan Castillo. Despite the loss, the Warriors demonstrated resilience and are preparing to host Augustana in another home game scheduled for October 31, 2025. Currently, Waldorf records stand at 0-8 for the season.
